Club donates $25,000 to 7 community groups

Club Helensvale is proud to support local charities, schools, aged care facilities, hospitals, people with disabilities, animal welfare and sporting organisations to name a few, and we have established long-standing relationships with services and people around our local community for a number of years.

The Club Helensvale Community Benefit Fund welcomes requests from eligible organisations bi-annually, and recently we have awarded a total of $25,000 to seven worthy recipients in the first round of funding for 2021.

Club Helensvale Chairman Paul Wilson was delighted the club is in the position to give back to our community and was impressed with the projects and passion in our community.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors at Club Helensvale I’d like to commend the applicants for their submissions to the Community Benefit Fund,” Mr Wilson said.

“The passion everyone has for their community groups shone through and we’re pleased to provide financial support to seven organisations totaling $25,000 in this round of funding.”

“Club Helensvale is committed to injecting a further $25,000 back into our local community in the next round of funding. We’re looking forward to reading more submissions and seeing the amazing work of more non-for-profit organisations and their wonderful volunteers.”

Congratulations to the following organisations on your successful applications.
